Raw Peanut Butter Donuts

Ingredients
Donuts
1 cup dates (soaked for 15 minutes in hot water)
1 cup desiccated coconut
3/4 cup almond meal
Pinch of cinnamon
1/4 cup salted caramel protein ( or more almond meal)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp maca powder (optional)
1/4 cup Mayver’s Smooth Peanut Butter
1-2 tbsp almond milk ( if required)
Peanut Butter Caramel
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup Mayver’s Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method

- Pulse all the ingredients in a food processor until a soft dough forms. If the mixture appears crumbly, add a tbsp of almond milk.
- Transfer the dough into your silicone donut moulds and place in the freezer to set for 1-2 hours.
- For the Peanut Butter caramel grab a small sauce pan, add all of the ingredients and turn the heat to medium. Whisk well as it warms up and the ingredients become smooth. Once it comes to a boil, whisk continuously for about a minute or so until it starts to thicken up.
- Once the donuts are set, coat in melted Peanut Butter Caramel and transfer to a lined baking tray. Immediately top with golden granola. Set in the fridge for 20 minutes and enjoy! * Note: The donuts are quite sweet so do not use any additional sweetener, you can use fewer dates if you are not a big sweet tooth.
