Pepita, Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 gluten pita large pita bread
- 3 tbsp Mayver’s Pepita Spread (discontinued: use Mayver’s Hulled Tahini)
- Handful fresh rocket
- 2 pears (sliced lengthways)
- 50g gorgonzola cheese
Method
- Place pita bread down on pizza tray.
- Spread a thin layer of Mayvers Pepita Spread across the top.
- Slice pear thinly across the center so they are flat pear shape slices. Lay them in a flower pattern across the pizza top.
- Scatter a couple of fresh rocket leaves across the top.
- Crumble the gorgonzola evenly over the pizza so that it will melt and cover the pizza with a thin layer of cheese.
- Place in moderate oven at 150°C for approx. 15 minutes or until cheese has melted. Be careful not to have the oven too high otherwise the edges of the pita and rocket will burn.
- ** Try using Mayver’s Sunflower spread or Tahini as a tasty alternative!
