Peanut Butter Chocolate Donuts

Ingredients
55g butter
½ cup Mayver’s Dark Roasted Unsalted Peanut Butter
¼ cup maple syrup
1 egg
½ cup almond milk
1 cup self-raising flour
¼ cup cacao powder
A pinch of salt
110g dark chocolate
60g white chocolate (optional, for topping)
+ a donut baking pan
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced and grease a donut pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
- Add the peanut butter, maple syrup, egg and almond milk and whisk to combine.
- Sift in the flour, cacao powder and salt and stir until an even dough forms.
- Roughly chop the dark chocolate and stir it through the mixture until evenly mixed through.
- Divide the mixture evenly between 8 holes of a donut pan and bake them in the oven for approximately 10 minutes.
- Once the donuts are cooled, melt the white chocolate in a small bowl and dip the donuts in to coat them if desired.
