Choc-Hazelnut Praline Balls

For the Inside:

150g roasted hazelnuts
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp Mayver’s Hazelnut, Cashew & Cacao Butter
3 tbsp maple syrup


For the Coating:

75g chocolate, chopped
1 tsp coconut oil
3 tbsp hazelnuts, chopped



  1. Add the hazelnuts (keep at least 20 hazelnuts for the centre) into a food processor and blend until chopped into fine pieces.
  2. Add Hazelnut, Cashew & Cacao Butter, vanilla, maple syrup and salt and blend until the ingredients start to stick together.
  3. Roll into small bite-sized balls, insert one hazelnut in the centre
  4. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate together with the coconut oil. Stir in chopped hazelnuts.
  6. Add the balls into the melted chocolate and coat on all sides.
  7. Place in the fridge to set for an hour.
