Chilli Satay Sauce

¼ cup finely chopped onion

1 small garlic clove, finely chopped

½ cup Mayver’s Crunchy Peanut Butter

¼ cup water

1 tsp hot chilli sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce OR tamari for gluten-free

1 tsp honey

2 tbsp lime juice




  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a small saucepan
  2. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook on low heat until soft, ensuring that no browning is occurring
  3. Add Mayver’s Crunchy Peanut Butter, honey and water and mix until incorporated
  4. Turn heat down to low and add in the soy sauce and lime juice and mix until combined, removing from heat quickly after.
