Chilli Satay Sauce

¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
¼ cup water
1 tsp hot chilli sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce OR tamari for gluten-free
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp lime juice
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a small saucepan
- Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook on low heat until soft, ensuring that no browning is occurring
- Add Mayver’s Crunchy Peanut Butter, honey and water and mix until incorporated
- Turn heat down to low and add in the soy sauce and lime juice and mix until combined, removing from heat quickly after.
