Caramel Twix Slice

For the Base:
1/2 cup flax meal
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup of almond meal (heaped)
40g choc protein powder
5-6 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut yoghurt

For the Topping:
Chopped roasted almonds
Hemp seeds

For the Caramel:
7 dates (softened in boiling water)
1-2 heaped tbsp Mayver’s Probiotic Peanut Butter
1 heaped tbsp coconut yoghurt
Pinch salt

For the Glaze:
2 blocks dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil



  1. Line a loaf tray with baking paper
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all base ingredients (add more flax meal if too sticky)
  3. Press base into the loaf pan and top with chopped almonds and hemp seeds
  4. Blitz caramel ingredients until smooth (a few date chunks are good)
  5. Top the base with caramel and freeze overnight
  6. Once frozen, allow to defrost for 20mins then slice with a warm knife
  7. Melt dark choc (double boiler method)
  8. Cover each bar with dark chocolate and place in the fridge
  9. Once set, enjoy!
