Aren’t mums AMAYVERSING? We’re celebrating all things Mum this May for Mother’s day! We’ve got some family friendly snacks for you to enjoy AND more about the very mum herself behind our family company!
It all started when Paul Raff looking for healthy alternatives to the food his family loves to eat, now we’re on a mission to provide a healthier future for all Australian families. Paul’s wife, Anita has seen Mayver’s grow from a small family company…. Hear how she’s helped support the growing family business and the growing Raff family, with little Will, Ivy and Patrick!
What is your favourite thing about being a mum?
Almost everything (dirty nappies and toilet training isn’t a highlight if I am honest..). Hard to put it all into words but I have never felt love like it.
What is your favourite thing about being a Mayver’s mum?
Honestly …free product! As a nut spreads lover it is nice to know there is always a carton or two sitting in the cupboard! Love hearing others mums love it too, knowing that there is nothing but goodness in there.
Do your kids have any lunch box favourites they request?
William would eat a peanut butter sandwich for lunch every day if he was allowed to take them to school. He also loves carrot sticks with peanut butter to dip them in. And homemade muffins, pikelets or bliss balls of any sort. Ivy just loves fruit and veggies – latest craze is baby cucumbers! Paddy eats everything!
Why is it important to you to feed your kids wholesome food?
You are what you eat! I want to give my kids the best chance to thrive in every way and I think healthy eating is a parents responsibility to ensure they do.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
Cappuccino’s!!! Not sure that is the answer you are after though but honestly can’t live without them since sleep deprived years of having babies.
What’s your favourite Mayver’s spread?
Dark roast crunchy peanut butter – spooned straight from jar…often!
How about the rest of the troop?
Definitely just the classic Natural Peanut Butter… on bread… with bear faces (it’s a great way to sneak in some fruit)!
