Lovli Spoon was created for Aussies who prefer stabilised peanut butter as it is less oily and is traditionally sweeter than natural peanut butter.
A large number of people consume stabilised peanut butter, more so than natural peanut butter. In true Mayver's style we wanted to create a stabilised peanut butter that was a healthier alternative to products already in the market.
Our new range is not made with palm oil, and ingredients that are e numbers. We have used a mixture of coconut oil and shea butter as the stabiliser to prevent the oil separation that occurs within natural peanut butter.

In the peanut butter world there are two types: natural peanut butter & stabilised!
Natural peanut butter is produced using just peanuts and a dash of sea salt, which is what our core products are! Because natural peanut butter is just that - peanuts that have been lightly roasted, crushed and mixed, the natural healthy oils are expelled from the nut can separate. This is completely normal & all you need to do is mix your spread with each use to bring your spread back to a creamy texture!
Stabilised peanut butter has the addition of a stabiliser, which is an oil or fat (most other brands in Australia use palm oil or vegetable oils) that combines with the natural peanut oil to stop or minimise the separation of the oils. in our new Lovli Spoon range we have used a delicious blend of shea & coconut oil, resulting in a healthier no stir creamy melt in your mouth texture! Plus it's also 4.5 health star rated and contains no emulsifiers and ingredients that are numbers!
We know stabilised peanut butter isn't for everyone and can assure you that our Mayver's natural range isn't going anywhere, however we are giving consumers the choice to purchase their favourite peanut butter! We are now the one stop shop for all things pb!
Good news, no! Our OG Mayver's range is 100% natural (just peanuts with a pinch of salt).
Many other stabilised peanut butters in Australia contain Palm Oil. Therefore our new range is a better for you range compared to other stabilised PBs in the market.

Coconut oil remains solid at room temperature, has a neutral taste and is very stable with a high smoke point. It contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which may offer health benefits. It is commonly used in cooking, baking, and also beauty products for its moisturizing properties. In Lovli Spoon Peanut Butter, it provides a delicious creamy texture and helps keep the natural peanut oil from separating too quickly in the jar.
Shea oil is a creamy fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, native to Africa.
It is solid a room temperature, but melts on contact with the mouth. In terms of nutritional profile, it is rich in fatty acids and vitamins A and E and provide anti-oxidant protection. It can be used as both a moisturiser nourishing skin but also in cooking.

"I've always had your normal crunchy or dark roasted crunchy that you have to stir. These ones do not come anywhere close to your others that need to be stirred. This one does not have as anywhere near as much taste and just not feel as natural."
