Sugar-Free Pure-State Tahini Chews

Ingredients

Here’s another healthy pure-state Tahini recipe from your good friends at Mayvers.

1/3 cup Mayver’s Hulled Organic Tahini
1/2 cup rice malt syrup (or honey)
1 cup oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut flakes
1/4 cup goji berries (or raisins)
2 tbs chia seeds
1/4 cup sugar-free dark chocolate chips*

To make the sugar-free choc-chips simply use the chocolate base from our Hazelnut&Cacao Coconut Bombs and crack the hardened chocolate into squares to sprinkle through the tahini mixture.

Method

Preheat oven to 165c.

Combine tahini and rice malt syrup in a medium bowl and stir until combined. Add the cinnamon and oats to the mixture and stir until incorporated. Add the nuts, goji berries, and choc chips to the mixture and stir until combined.

Spoon mixture into rounded teaspoon and drop onto a greased baking sheet. Bake until edges are golden brown and the center is set.

Remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
