Want to know what all the fuss is about? While Peanut Butter has long been a staple of the Aussie pantry, we want to shine a light on the new kid on the block …   Almond Spread!

Almonds are a power-packed source of vitamins and nutrients! This mighty ingredient is jam-packed with monounsaturated fats- but don’t freak out- these fats are healthy! They are the healthy fats our bodies need.

Here is the breakdown between Peanut Butter and Almond Spread:

Here’s what Monica from Monica Yates has to say about healthy fats in our Almond Spreads. She’s a (super) healthy recipe developer, food blogger, health coach, co-founder of Healthie Hampers and the Director of Bender Flow.

Eating a healthy diet is a huge factor in promoting general well-being and reducing hormonal imbalances, especially for women. My passion is to help women and girls understand their hormones, periods and cycles so that they can supercharge their life and not let their hormonal imbalance bring them down. My number 1 factor that I always suggest to my clients, is to increase their fat intake. Whilst most people are now aware of the benefits of healthy fats, many women still don’t have a high enough fat intake.

Omega fats can assist in reducing inflammation, increase metabolism, reduce fat storage, promote liver detoxification and assist with bowel movements. It is found in many sources like wild caught fish, flax seeds, chia seeds, avocado, eggs, brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, olive oil and much more.

And the best bit about almonds is that there are so many different ways to consume them – have them in their whole form, as a nut butter like Mayver’s Almond Spreads (my favourite brand… and they do different blends of Almond Spreads), cook with almond flour, or make it into a dressing for a Thai salad.

I have recently created my 8-week program where each week you focus on a different area of your body so that you can achieve full health and actually understand how food benefits different parts of your body.
